[22p-P01-4] Ion monitoring and effect study of rare earth elements using SERS analysis

Keywords:Raman spectroscopy, Rare Earth, Surface-enhanced Raman scattering

Electromagnetic enhancement is an important hypothesis for the mechanism of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). However, the specific mechanism of electromagnetic enhancement is more complex and can be divided into magnetic field enhancement and electric field enhancement. In order to examine the specific role of magnetic field enhancement in electromagnetic enhancement theory, in this study, rare earth (RE) ion-citrate complexes are used as SERS target complexes. Large difference of the specific magnetic properties of rare earth ions (created by 4f electron configuration) are used to examine the electromagnetic enhancement effect of the same type complexes in SERS process to obtain the possible role of magnetic field enhancement in electromagnetic enhancement theory.
