[23a-E303-6] Observation of plasmoelectric effect in zirconium nitride

Zirconium nitride nanodisk array was fabricated on a ITO-coated glass substrate, and the photo-induced surface potential difference (SPD) was recorded by the Kervin probe force microscope under light irradiation. The measured SPD showed sign change at the surface plasmon resonance wavelength. The measured potential is caused by the plasmoelectric effect, which is the first observation other than noble metals.
