We will present an effective strategy to achieve a high-power, narrow-linewidth, and widely tunable mid-IR laser with wavelength accessibility covering 3.8–4.8 μm and spectral linewidths less than 0.3 nm. In addition, we will demonstrate the realization of a high-power, mode-hop-free single-frequency laser operating at 4.3 μm, producing a maximum output power of more than 210 mW and a spectral linewidth of 30 MHz (1.9 pm).
