[16p-PB02-10] Structural stability of self-assembled peptides on graphite surfaces under electrochemical treatments
Keywords:self assmbly, peptide, graphite
The stability of peptide self-assembled membranes is necessary for the practical application of GFET biosensors decorated with self-assembling peptides. However, the structural stability of peptide self-assembled membranes under changing electrochemical potentials has not been studied in detail. In this work, the structural changes of peptides self-assembled on graphite surfaces upon application of voltage were evaluated by atomic force microscopy. The results showed that the tight-lattice structure of the peptide self-assembled films unraveled upon application of voltage, and some of the peptides were completely desorbed.
