Soft-type two dimensional layered materials based on self-assembled nanostructures, for detection and visualization of different kind of mechanical stress, have attracted much interest in recent years as this secure a safe and healthy life [Chem. Commun., 2020, 56, 13069-13081]. Polydiacetylene (PDA) exhibits strong optical absorption and fluorescence properties upon exposure in different kind of mechanical stress [Soft Matter, 13, 1728-1736, 2017] and has potential to be used in a variety of sensing and imaging devices [Adv. Mater.2021, 33, 2008755]. These applications are based on macroscopic study. Recently Sugihara Group has demonstrated [Nano Lett. 2021, 21, 543−549] that PDA uniquely detects lateral forces (friction forces) in nanonewton range With the advantage of the findings,we have visualized and quantitatively detect forces at nanoscale in soft layered materials composites of the diacetylene monomer crystal and much more organic components. .
