[18a-PB01-25] The reduction of Sn4+ of Sn-based perovskite for high efficient Photovoltaic devices

Sn-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) shows the best power conversion efficiency among all Pb-free-based PSCs due to its ideal narrow bandgap (~1.4eV), small exciton binding energy, high carrier mobility and environment friendly. It becomes a potential candidate to replace toxic Pb-based perovskite. However, fast oxidation of Sn2+ to Sn4+ results in high level p-doping and non-radiative recombination sites. It limits the improvement of device performance and stability. Therefore, appropriate approaches are necessary for conquering this question. In this abstract, a simple and in-situ strategy was adopted for Sn-based PSCs preparation. It realizes significant reduction of Sn4+ in perovskite film. Finally, over 14 % power conversion efficiency was obtained.
