Symposium
Thu. Jun 30, 2022 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM Venue B (Heian)
Organizers: Noriko Saitoh (The Cancer Institute of JFCR), Reo Maruyama (The Cancer Institute of JFCR)
Epigenetic regulation defines gene expression profiles, and therefore it is deeply involved in cancer, because it determines the cellular function and identity. In this symposium, we will discuss how diverse epigenetic mechanisms including DNA methylation, histone modifications, heterochromatin and chromatin loop formations, non-coding RNAs, and nuclear structure are involved in the carcinogenesis and cancer progression.
