[II-08] Effect of stone shape on flow condition in fish passage with natural stacked boulders
Keywords:fish passage, flow of space, flat stone, round stone, upstream route
We investigated experimentally how the natural stone shape of flat stone and cobble stone affects the ascent route of aquatic organisms. As a result of examination, it was found from the change of flow condition and flow velocity that flat stone is connected with space more than cobble stone, and the flow velocity near the bottom does not increase even if the flow rate scale increases. By these, it is possible to create an environment suitable for upstream by stone-building with flat stone.
