[V-538] Development of biomass concrete using wood ash
Keywords:wood ash concrete, fly ash, calcium carbonate, ettringite, friedel's salt
The purpose of this study is to develop a biomass concrete using wood ash, in which materials circulation is possible by natural energy.
The Hardening of unhumidified fly ash of the wood ash with water was verified without using slaked lime.
The mechanism of hardening of fly ash with water was investigated by the powder X-ray diffraction.
Only calcium carbonate was generated under high concentration of CO2 than the air while only ettringite and Friedel’s salt were generated under lower concentration of CO2.
On the other hand, the three types of the crystal were generated and the strength of the hardened unhumidified fly ash was the highest compared with under lower or higher concentration of CO2.
