[VI-725] A study of evaluating physical characteristics about aged transparent noise barriers

Translucent noise barriers are installed on expressways. In translucent noise barriers using resin material, the secular change of physical characteristics is not clarified. In this study, with the purpose of clarifying the factors of physical characteristics of translucent noise barriers that changes with age and the evaluation method of the factors, using translucent noise barriers that changed with age, several tests were done. As a result, it was clarified that tensile strain is one of the time-dependent indicators of physical properties, and the possibility of evaluation without destruction of the specimen was shown by the erosion rate obtained by MSE test.
