[V-439] Continuous self-compaction of flesh concrete using bend pipe
Keywords:Self-compacting concrete, Self-compaction, Construction, Acceptance inspection, Continuous test
The effectiveness of the YU pipe was discussed to make continuous acceptance inspection realize for immediately before placement of self-compacting concrete. The result showed the following; (1) there was a better correlation between slump flow and flow volume of the YU pipe, rather than the flow velocity of the funnel. The pipe that had a diameter of 100 mm was suitable for the rank 2 self-compaction. (2) the YU pipe that had a diameter of 100 mm was clogged by detached concrete. The curved shape could cause the flow turbulent and move the concrete upward by only gravity. That shape can detect both the lack of concrete flow and detachment of the concrete material.
