Pipe cooling and long-term moisturizing curing were carried out as a measure to prevent thermal cracks at the capital of the Abukuma River Bridge on the Tohoku Chuo Expressway. For these implementations, a measurement and control system using wireless communication technology for concrete temperature measurement was introduced.
The system data acquired by a temperature sensor installed in each measurement point and sent to the cloud server can grasp the cured state and the internal temperature of the concrete in real time on a computer any workplace. This enabled quick temperature control.
This paper reports the outline of the measurement system, application examples, and issues.
