The Ohgemba River No.1 erodion control barrage , completed in 1937 , is the earliest arched barrage in Japan , registered as "Registered Tangible Cuitural Property" in July 2003 as a contribution to the historical landscape of the country , and it is a structure of high historical value certified as "Recommended Civil Heritage" by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers in 2011.
This report describes the outline of the repair work of the weir , in which an 18-meter-high steel pipe double temporary cutoff was constructed and measurement control was carried out.
