Damage based design is a useful concept for geo-structures against extreme loadings. This paper discusses on numerical simulation method to estimate the damage level of reinforced soil walls. SPH method for soil-reinforcement systems is proposed. Validity of the proposed method is investigated by simulating of full-scaled model test on failure phenomena of reinforced soil wall.
