Symposium 04 : Bio-oscillation to generate a shape and function during development (in English)

Bio-oscillation has increasingly attracted researchers. In this symposium, bio-oscillations accompanied with progressive waves will be presented; peristaltic phenomena in gut movements and neural networks, wavy patterns in slime molds, and segmentation clock. How these oscillatory waves are culminated in morphogenesis will be discussed.
