[TuE2-3] Ultra-Robust Design of Mode (De)Multiplexer Based on Asymmetrical Directional Coupler Using Wire and One-Side Rib Waveguides

An ultra-robust Si mode (de)multiplexer is newly proposed. The device is composed of Si wire and one-side rib waveguides. The numerical results based on the coupled mode theory show the effectiveness of our proposed design.
