【ねらい】
High—frequency oscillations（HFOs）in EEG are important in both physiological and pathological aspects of brain function. In order to elucidate their clinical significance, a symposium is organized to promote the development of multi—facet investigations on HFOs. The four speakers will cover extensive research fields of intracranial and non—invasive examinations for both cognitive physiological HFOs and epileptogenic pathological HFOs which are a surrogate biomarker of epileptogenicity. We hope this symposium will promise to open the gate to a current unknown information of brain functions.
