Symposium

[S40] Chemical Biology for Pharmaceutical Sciences (Visualization and elucidation of biological phenomena by functional molecules)

Mon. Mar 29, 2021 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM [Room H] Oral Presentation H (Online)

Organizer: Hanaoka Kenjiro (Grad. Sch. of Pharm. Sci., The Univ. of Tokyo), Tsukiji Shinya (Grad. Sch. of Eng., Nagoya Inst. of Tech.)

In the analysis of biological phenomena and the elucidation of pathological mechanisms, smart molecules having special functions enable the visualization and control of biological phenomena, which have not been achieved. Since these molecules exhibit their various abilities in biological samples by precisely designing the molecular structures, this chemical approach has been increasingly needed year by year. In this symposium, cutting edge early and mid-career scientists in the field of chemical biology who are trying to visualize or elucidate biological phenomena by using their own functional molecules will give talks as symposists or participate as organizers in order to introduce their latest research results and to discuss future prospects. Specifically, we will have talks about analytical method of lipid-derived radicals (Dr. Yamada), protein knockdown techniques (Dr. Ishikawa), oligonucleotide-based agonists for controlling receptor activity (Dr. Ueki), fluorescent proximal cell labeling technique (Dr. Kuchimaru), protein activity control by synthetic protein condensates (Dr. Tsukiji), fluorescent probes for visualizing biological phenomena (Dr. Hanaoka), and Prof. Hanaoka and Dr. Tsukiji will promote discussion as organizers.

趣旨説明:花岡 健二郎(東大院薬) (1:15 PM - 1:16 PM)

まとめ:築地 真也(名工大院工) (3:14 PM - 3:15 PM)
