[2E2-03] Evaluation Method of Pedestrian Discrimination Ability for the Vehicle Approaching Velocity using AR in the Twilight

As traffic death accidents decrease year by year, pedestrian fatal accidents still occur frequently.One of the reasons for this is that pedestrians can not perceive the speed of approaching vehicles accurately.To investigate this,In this research, we use augmented reality that can experience a realistic experience.We project a road environment with a stereo camera, project it on HMD, and construct a system that superimposes a vehicle model approaching the image.By using this system, we carry out vehicle speed comparative task experiments for young people and compare and examine the experimental results with previous research.
