The water atomization method used in this study has a higher production yield, so the cost of powder is lower than that of gas atomized powder. It is also possible to produce ultra-fine powders. While the use of ultrafine powder is expected to improve the surface roughness and mechanical properties of sintered body, water-atomized powder has poor flowability. In this study, we aim to improve the flowability by using nano silica to apply to the BJT method. In this presentation, we report the results of our investigation of the properties of green and sintered bodies made of water atomized powder with nano silica.
