What is Yokogawa Innovation Fair
Yokogawa Innovation Fair is an annual company event which presents technology-oriented research & development and progressive ideas to meet customer and market needs, supported by the YHQ Technical General Managers’ Meeting. Since a diverse range of sessions and categories will be presented, all Yokogawa Group employees (not limited to engineers) are encouraged to participate in this opportunity.Opening Message from Head of Marketing HQs
We will also hold an Innovation Fair in FY2021, the first year of AG 2023.The slogan for this year’s Innovation Fair is “Move forward together, AG2023～To achieve the sustainable future”.
In view of the new mid-to long-term plan, we need to promote further reforms both inside and outside the company. “Technology” continues to be recognized as the most important factor for global CxOs in 2019, according to IBM’s “C-Suite Study 2020”.
Meanwhile, this year’s Marketing 5.0 from Professor Kotler and this year’s World Economic Forum buzzword, The Global Reset, are all about how humanity is going to get on with technology. This requires innovation to develop the economy and technology to innovate. On the other hand, various technologies have changed the world since the first industrial revolution to the present day, and there is “Light and Shadow”. In particular humankind is facing “The Digital Dilemma” under DX(Digital Transformation). In addition to the background of this year’s slogan of “To achieve the sustainable future”, I would like to consider “Sustainable Future” in the true sense with you.
As in the previous year, this year’s Innovation Fair will be held online. Last year’s Innovation Fair was the first to be held on full cyber space, though the efficiency was improved, and satisfaction were further improved. This year, we will prepare lecture by directors, oral & posters sessions, and bring-in events.
I look forward to the active participation of employees not only from Japan but also from all over the world as a speaker.
