Controlled propagation of spin waves (SWs) has exhibited potential applications in information transfer and processing. Various methods to modulate the SWs propagation via electric field, spin-orbit torque, and temperature gradient have been explored. The interplay between heat and SWs yields novel transport phenomena as the unidirectional heat conveyer effect in magnetostatic surface spin waves (MSSWs) was observed by lock-in thermography (LIT). Herein, we studied the modulation of heat emission in ferrimagnetic Y3Fe5O12 thin film upon applied current (Jc) pulse using the LIT technique. The heat emission due to MSSWs damping is modulated by pulsed current (Jc) applied to a thin Cu foil. By applying the current pulse with different polarities, we studied the effect of the local Oersted field generated from the applied Jc on the MSSWS propagation to control the heat emission using LIT.
