[G19] Study of H2O2 and O2 concentration behavior as a function of H2 injection in PWR
Keywords:PWR, Hydrogen Water Chemistry, Computer Simulation
At present, 25-40cc H2/kg H2O (STP) is injected to the primary coolant of PWRs to inhibit the production of oxidizing species. Recent studies reveal that, at high temperature, less amount of additional hydrogen is required, and excess hydrogen injection may leads to different type of corrosion due to reductive environment. By using computer simulation, the required concentration of additional hydrogen and the concentration of oxidizing species; H2O2 and O2, at high temperature were evaluated based on available data
