小破断LOCA時HPI不作動事象におけるアクシデントマネジメント「2次系強制冷却による低圧注入」のRELAP5解析に対し、統計的手法の適用を進めている。本事象で評価パラメータ（PCT）への影響が大きい現象に伝熱管凝縮熱伝達、低温側配管水平層状化がある。実機統計解析に先立ち、これらの現象に係るRELAP5解析モデルの不確かさを定量化した。
