[L39] A study on ageing management of cable insulations considering their safety function

Insulation degradation of cables in a nuclear power plant is affected by many factors, such as their use, location, material, and human factors. To develop a strategy for ageing management of cables considering their safety function, domestic and international practices are surveyed. Cables and their maintenance techniques are categorized from the viewpoint of safety function. Some correlation between condition monitoring techniques will be also shown according to acceleration test
