Performing both computational simulation and nuclear reactor experiments, we have been studying creation of element resources by nuclear transmutation of fission products. It is very beneficial for securing the reliability of results from the simulation to verify accuracy and reliability of nuclear data used in calculation codes by performing neutron irradiation experiments. In this study, especially, nuclear data on neutron capture cross section of stable isotopes of ruthenium was verified by a combination of neutron activation analysis using TRIGA reactor at University of California, Irvine and burnup calculation using MVP-BURN code. Based on the result of the verification, we will discuss in this presentation about thermal neutron capture cross section of 102Ru in JENDL-4.0.
