Coolant of high temperature gas reactor is helium gas, but it is designed such that the core can be cooled by radiation heat transfer in an accidental condition. However, the heat transfer property might change when the air comes into the core during the accident. Therefore, graphie radiation property change is tested experimentally observing the heat balance before and after the air ingression.
