ナトリウム冷却高速炉の炉心崩壊事故時の再配置過程における、溶融炉心物質と冷却材との熱的相互作用および炉内構造物への炉心物質の再配置挙動を解明するため、低融点合金を低水深の水プール中に落下させる模擬試験を複数回行った。本件では、本試験の結果およびそのメカニズムの考察について報告する。
