高温ガス炉の事故時にふく射伝熱を用いることで崩壊熱を受動的に除去できる炉容器冷却設備について、スケールモデルを用いた基礎的な実験を実施した。その結果、伝熱試験装置が模擬する冷却設備について、その基本的な伝熱特性について定量的な知見を得た。
