福島原子力発電所事故の教訓から、深層防護１層～３層（設計）とは異なる第４層のための構造強度評価体系の構築が必要である。その中で使用する破損モードを判定するための破損モードマップの概念と、その具体例として過温過圧時の原子炉圧力容器底部の破損モードマップについて報告する。
