[1M10] Remote Technology Development for Function Advancement of Research Base

Remote Handling and Remote Senseing Technologies are indispensable and to be developed for response to nuclear disaster like as Tokyo Electric Power Corporation and Fukushima daiichi nuclear power plants decommissioning, because of high radiation, framable gass, high temparature and/or humidity. Japan Atomic Energy Agency has established Remote Technology Development Center and taken it in partial operation, in order for accelarate these technologies development. In the Center, Full schale mockup testing and remote technologies for deblis rmoval or rad-waste management would be performed. In addition, Robot performance standard test method and robot simulator for robot development, Modification of nuclear emergency response robots, light conpton camera laser cheking technologies would be also begun to develop.
