Keywords:Three-dimensional neutron transport, GENESIS, The LEAF method, C5G7 3D benchmark calculation

A three-dimensional transport code, GENESIS, based on the LEAF method is being developed. The major features are: (1)flexible geometry treatment covering common core designs, (2)accurate three-dimensional neutron transport using the LEAF method, (3)efficient convergence acceleration by the GCMR method, (4) reduction of spatial discretization by incorporating linear source distribution, (5) assignment of independent GCMR mesh from geometry. Validity of the GENESIS code is confirmed through the Takeda Benchmark Problem No.1, C5G7-3D benchmark problem.
