A core study has been started to enhance TRU burning capability of fast reactors by using uranium-free TRU metallic fuel. A fast reactor core loaded with new fuel alloy and moderator has been studied to simultaneously achieve increase of absolute value of Doppler coefficient and decrease of void reactivity coefficient.
