基礎試験等の成果を反映し製作した小口径配管縦割り加工用装置を用いて、原子炉施設の廃止措置中である「ふげん」で解体撤去した主復水器で使用していた冷却水管（黄銅、直径約25mm）の縦割り切断の実証を行い、切断データ等を取得するとともに、装置の適用性確認及び課題抽出を行った。
