陽子数が13から19まで、中性子数が21以上の中性子過剰核の半減期および遅発中性子放出確率を大規模殻模型計算によって系統的に計算した。この計算は、実験値をよく再現し、実験データのない非常に中性子過剰な原子核に対する予言を与えた。
