The Fukushima Unit-2 accident behavior has been simulated using SAMPSON/POOL3D in order to investigate the debris distribution inside the RPV and to estimate the RPV failure time. Using a three dimensional description could help to understand the impact of the Suppression Pool on the RPV and PCV behavior during the accident.
