4号機が水素爆発に至ったメカニズムの理解に役立てるため、事故当時のプラントパラメータに基づいて3号機格納容器内の状態を推定し、ベントガス中に含まれる水素の4号機原子炉建屋への流入量を解析コードGOTHICを用いて評価した。
