[1G01] Reliability assessment on thermal fatigue of pipes induced by oscillation of thermally stratified fluid

*Masaaki Suzuki1 (1. Tokyo Univ. of Science)

Keywords:Uncertainty, Reliability Assessment, High-cycle Thermal Fatigue, Oscillation of Thermally Stratified Fluid

The oscillation of thermally stratified fluid can induce thermal fatigue damage on structures with nuclear components. The thermal fatigue evaluation method based on the frequency response function and power spectrum density functions against thermal stratification oscillation has been proposed and employed to perform reliability assessment of branch pipes with closed end.
