Neutron capture cross section of a stable nucleus 35Cl is useful nuclear data because it is relevant to the production of a long-lived radioactive waste 36Cl (half-life 3*105 yr) in coolant and shield materials of nuclear power and accelerator facilities. The neutron capture reactions for 3 NaCl samples which have different isotope compositions of chlorine were measured using an NaI(Tl) detector in ANNRI at J-PARC. The neutron capture cross section of 35Cl in the energy range of 0.02 eV to 1 keV was obtained from the analysis of these measured data.
