[1Q06] A method for estimating artificial radionuclide contribution of γ-ray air dose rate after changing measurement method

*Akihiro Kimura1, Akane Ishihata1, Setsuo Ito1, Yoichi Ishikawa1, Masato Takahashi1, Takashi Ando1 (1. MERMC)

Keywords:γ-ray air dose rate, γ-ray spectrum, artificial radionuclide contribution

Lead shields, which were equipped under the NaI(Tl)-detector for the purpose of sensitive detection of artificial radionuclide contribution in monitoring environmental γ-ray air dose rate, were removed to more accurately estimate deposited radiocesium contribution, and the removal effect on evaluation of artificial radionuclide dose contribution using γ-ray spectrum analysis was investigated.
