ナトリウム冷却高速炉の炉心崩壊事故時における溶融炉心物質と冷却材の熱的相互作用及び炉内構造物への炉心物質の堆積挙動を解明するため、炉心入口プレナムを想定した低水深の水プール中に溶融した低融点合金を落下させる模擬試験を実施している。本件では、溶融物質の初期温度及び冷却材領域の容積等が試験結果に及ぼす影響について報告する。
