In general hammering tests, the detection ability depends on the skill of the inspector, and variation in detectability is a problem. We conducted a hammering test using an AE sensor as an inspection system capable of non-destructive detection of degradation occurring in the concrete and objectivity and recordability independent of the expertise of the inspector.
