MFI型およびFAU型ゼオライトを用い、これらゼオライト結晶内におけるヨウ化メチルの拡散係数測定を行った。結晶内拡散係数はFAU型ゼオライトよりMFI型ゼオライトの方が高い値を示した。よって、拡散速度の観点からはヨウ化メチルの吸着剤には、MFI型ゼオライトが有利であることが示唆された。
