沸騰を伴う溶液燃料臨界事故の影響評価手法の整備に資するため、準定常法に沸騰によるウラン濃度と体積の変化を組み入れ、1959年のICPP臨界事故を解析した。この結果、臨界が終息するまでの時間と総核分裂数及び水分蒸発水量が文献値とよく一致した。
