Keywords:Fracture Toughness, RPV steel, The Master Curve Method, Miniature C(T) specimen

Miniature C(T) specimens fabricated from four thickness locations of IAEA standard material JRQ and a RPV weld metal Linde-80 were subjected to fracture toughness tests to ensure the applicability of miniature specimens for the Master Curve evaluation. Resulted fracture toughness from different two laboratories were comparable with each other, and determined as valid evaluation results. Although several invalid data due to ductile crack growth were generated in testing on Linde-80, the evaluated toughness level was the same as larger (maximum 4 inches) specimens, which did not show ductile crack growth.
