We started a research on "Nuclear Fuel Cycle concept building using an environmental load reduction light-water nuclear reactor" as a commissioned research by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for four years. In the nuclear fuel cycle in which a light water reactor and a fast reactor coexist, the concept of suppressing the radioactive toxicity etc. of the nuclear fuel cycle by suppressing the generation of radioactive toxicity, vitrified radioactive waste and plutonium from the light water reactor side are researched.
