[2O13] Chemical compatibility between EUROFER and ceramic breeder under dry and moist atmospheres

Chemical compatibility test between EUROFER steel and ceramic breeder (Li4SiO4 + 20 mol% of Li2TiO3) was carried out under dry and moist atmospheres. The formation of the doublew corrosion layer on the EUROFER specimens was critically enhanced by the increase of H2O concentration. The growth rate was controlled by diffusion process through the oxide layers.
