We have been developing a modelling estimation methodology of the radioactive waste inventory generated at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. The model to calculate the distribution of radionuclides in the reactor buildings released from the damaged fuels during the accident and some issues to improve the accuracy of the modelling estimation will be discussed for an appropriate classification of wastes.
