[3G11] Study on Data Assimilation Techniques using Subcritical Experiment

For the data assimilation using subcritical experiment, we investigate (a) bias factor method using random sampling technique and (b) Bayesian inference using likelihood function. Through a twin experiment for Pi-Bi loaded ADS benchmark problems at the Kyoto University Critical Assembly (KUCA), we try to reduce the nuclear data-induced uncertainties of core characteristics parameters (effective neutron multiplication factor, effective delayed neutron fraction, neutron generation time and prompt neutron lifetime).
