[3I06] Study about the effect of the quality of Ca type bentonite to the performance of the low permeable barrier

低レベル放射性廃棄物の浅地中処分施設における難透水性覆土としてCa型ベントナイトを用いたベントナイト混合土を用いることが検討されている。一般的にベントナイトの品質はベントナイトのモンモリロナイト含有率に影響を受ける。特にNa型ベントナイトの場合は，その影響が大きく有効モンモリロナイト密度という指標も用いられている。Ca型ベントナイトはNa型ベントナイトと比べて膨潤性も小さいためモンモリロナイト含有率の差が品質にどの程度の影響を与えるのかを確認するために，基本特性試験および透水試験を実施したので，その結果について報告する。
